Green Glen Equine Hospital welcomes equine referral cases from private veterinarians in our area for advanced diagnostics and treatment. Referrals and second opinion cases can be admitted on short notice for both diagnosis and surgery. The referring veterinarian should provide a 'referral form' summarizing the animal's clinical signs and the diagnostic procedures and/or treatments that have been done prior to the referral. That form should be faxed to us prior to the patient's arrival.  A discharge summary will be faxed and/or emailed to the referring veterinarian, as well as mailed to the owner, within 24 hours of the horse's discharge from our clinic. Veterinarians are welcome to call our clinic to discuss referred cases at any time.
